Ah, the Lodge...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived at the lodge for about 8 months now. During my move in inspection, I discovered that my original apartment was not painted, there were spider webs everywhere, and it was tttrrashy! I was glad I wasn't moving anything that day or else I would've been pissed.
I immediately alerted the office staff. I had to wait a few days, but they gave me a new unit. (smaller than my original one, but a hell of a lot nicer.) They're pretty quick about coming out if there's a problem, but a lot of the maint. barely speaks english (huge language barrier when trying to explain what's wrong) and they half do the work at times. The parking lot floods (and I do mean floods...water up to the body of the car at times) when it rains heavily. Unless you own a raft of sorts, it's difficult getting to your vehicle without ruining your clothing.
They tow out of the carports, but never tow the lazy bums that park in the handicapped spots. I can't say everyone around here has a legal job, but nobody's handicapped and those spaces are always full. That's probably because the parking lot is ill-desgined. The bushes are always overgrown and poorly kept.
The apartment itself it pretty spacious and it has lots of storage space. The walls are really thin and the windows are old (you can see the seal was depleted by the foggy windows)...If I knew what I knew now, there's no way I would've moved in here...even with the free gas and water. Just know it floods like heck and make sure your unit is ok before you step foot in here. If you are more concerned with space for your money, this is your place.
good luck!
