SLUMS/CROOKED STAFF!

Living at these apartments was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. The complex is a slum. The staff is crooked. This was the first time I ever rented a apartment. When I decided to move, I faxed my 30 day notice to the office (not knowing that it would come back to haunt me). About 20 minutes later, the manager calls me, and begs me to stay. He wanted me to sign a new 1 year lease. He offered me 2 months free rent. I told him that I would get back with him. He also called my husbands phone, offered him the same thing on his voice mail. We never called him back, because we were fed up with these slummy apartments. Once we moved, about two months later, I get this huge bill. When I called the office he tells me that I never gave him a 30 day notice. I asked him why, if I didn't give him a 30 day notice, did he call me begging me to stay and sign a new lease. He became quite for a minute, but still denied ever recieving a 30 day notice from me. In the end, because I faxed my 30 day typed notice, I had no proof that I gave them a notice. So, I have to pay these crooked people a large sum of money for a slummy, nasty, ghetto, ran down apartment. Most of the people I know who lived here will tell you a similar story about the crooked, corrupt staff. If your looking for debt, or a judgement on your credit, this is the place for you. Good Luck.
