Based on my continued personal satisfaction with my home at Marina Apartments, and my congenial involvement with management and other personnel, I was appalled when friends, to whom I highly recommended living here, told me about this site leading to my readng all 14 reviews! Because of my own experiences (and conversations I have had with other contented residents) it did not take me long to recognize that these testimonies often appeared to be loaded with distortions if not outright falsehoods.

I guess this should not be surprising, for while it is human nature to express our opinions when dissatisfied (whether bona fide or without justification), it is unfortunate that we usually take the good things in our lives for granted--seldom expressing our gratitude. To support my opinion I checked several other apartments in this and two other states where I have lived in apartments. What do you suppose I found' The same thing--very few recommendations.

Most startling to me were my findings when checking on an apartment I lived in for eight years in another state before my retirement. It's accommodations and services were excellent--as would be expected at a rental cost of over three times what I now pay at Marina--but overall not that much different from what I receive here when taking into consideration the added benefits like the beautiful lake environment. I know from communication with friends who still reside where I lived that the benefits of living there have not changed. HOWEVER, of the twenty-two (22) opinions reported in the apartment rating ONLY TWO (2) were recommendations!

Now that I have finished this exercise I intend to express my gratitude to management, telling them what I'm sure they and the management of all better apartment complexes already know: Those who enter their opinions on rating sites like this one do not represent the majority of tenants who not only appreciate the quality of their apartments but are also happy with the relationship they have with the apartment personnel. Had I known how much I would enjoy living at Marina Apartments I would have moved here years before I did.
