I have unfortunately lived here for 2 years...make no mistake not because I have enjoyed my time in this Northeast side ghetto, but I have been saving money to move into a home. So if you think the reviews from 2007 are bad, the quality of life in The Orchard has tanked even further in the past year and a half with an entirely new management staff. The police make weekly trips to my parking enclave, the neighbors are loud at all hours of the day and night, apparently I am the only employed person in my section, I am a girl living on my own and feel EXTREMELY threatened any time I go outside beyond my door-car path. If you contact the office about any safety issues or complaints, honestly THEY COULD CARE LESS. I have lived in 3 other rentals in Indianapolis and this is by far the WORST EVER and I will be throwing a party when my lease is up in October and I move. RUN AWAY!!!

I LIVE IN THE ORCHARDS AND I HATE IT WITH A PASSION AFTER BEING HERE A SHORT 6 MONTHS!! THE MAINTENANCE NEVER COMES WHEN SOMETHING IS BROKEN. RAY IS A COMPLETE IDIOT DONT LET HER EVEN LOOK AT YOU. THE MANAGEMENT IS QUICK TO PUT A NOTICE ON YOUR DOOR IF YOUR RENT IS LATE BUT THEY DIDNT RUSH WHEN MY AIR CONDITIONING WAS BROKEN FOR TWO WEEKS IN MID MAY AND I SPENT MONEY BUYING FANS JUST TO KEEP MY APARTMENT COOL AND HAD CONSTANT TRIPS TO THE ER FOR SEVERE NOSE BLEEDS. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!
