Rude indifferent not-so-smart Management staff

We have lived here for several years. There are alot of things we do like about the complex: the neighbors, the expanse of land, the maintenance staff, parking. However, the leasing agents are worthless and rude. Denise is the most unfriendly person we have ever met and heaven forbid one should have a problem - se doesn't want to hear about it. She is just there earning a paycheck and doesn't give a darn about the residents. Denise is just rude. She might be nice to you when you are a potential resident - but beware. You will be able to tell who she is - she walks around with her nose stuck up in the air. Another girl, lives on property and is oblivious to what goes on in her own building, much less what's happening in the rest of the complex. You ask her or tell her something and it just flies right over her head. But at least she is friendly sometimes. The other girls in the office can't answer simple questions. My first couple of contacts with the new property manager were not positive experiences. She was rude and unprofessional. I've avoided her ever since. If I had spoken to a customer the way she spoke to me, I would have lost my job. Rents are going up, up, up and the complex is going down, down, down. It was pricey when we moved in and now they are just pricing themselves at the top of the market. Price gouging!! The maintenance staff is decent and friendly, however they do have some problems. They do their best to repair problems, but there are things that they will never to be able to correct. And when they do fix something, it's never right the first time. There is just one guy that's like that, but why do they always send him' Somebody always has to come back after him - seems like a waste of time. We've always had to call back and get them to come a second or third time. And there are lots of leaks and water problems - we've heard many residents mention mold. (don't know what color). Strucurely, this place was very cheaply built and when they fix things, they fix it cheaply. (They should be supervising the contractors that come onsite to repair things - but nowadays, nobody speaks English - so it's no wonder the quality of work is shabby. Ok, I mentioned what we liked in the beginning and that was the expanse of grounds. But there are lots of critters out here too, coyotes, possums, rodents, snakes, spiders, ants, silverfish and other numerous bugs to name a few. Oh yea, they require every tenant to carry personal injury insurance (not just for a person's own personal belongings). Maybe that's in case someone gets bit by a spider or snake so they can't sue the complex. Who knows' I probably wouldn't have taken the time to write this, but I am tired of Denise being so rude to me. She frowns - never smiles, says hello or thank you - never. It would be a great improvement if they would bring in a decent leasing staff. So if you like rude leasing agents, high rents, bugs, spiders and snakes, lots of noise, lots of barking dogs and their refuse, is your place. We'll be moving out soon. We are tired of being treated with such disrespect. We've never been late on rent or had any noise complaint - we just don't understand why they treat their long-term residents so thoughtlessly. It would be nice to come home to a place where we felt appreciated.

Denise is not the person you described at all. Everyone has a moment when they can be overwhelmed at least once in their life and maybe you met her at that particular. I am sure that if you had mentioned it to her (if that were really the case), she would have been apologetic and maybe even offered you a special concession or something for your false perception. Five years ago we did have possums and raccoons going into the dumster which was a result of the woods west of us starting to be cleared out for the new sub-division being built. And their was reported to be 1 coyote that was supposedly seen by a 4 year old. Again, go talk to the Manager and I'm sure she will offer you a sincere apology.

I am Denise, Property Manager, at The Private Reserve and I would like to start with an apology to whomever wrote this review. If in fact it is an honest review.... I am unaware of any resident that I have spoken to in an unprofessional manner and do not have a good rapport with. I also make a point to say hello and thank you when seeing or speaking to residents and/or anyone for that matter. One of the most important duties that my job consists of is assuring that the residents at The Private Reserve do feel appreciated and that I provide them with professional and prompt service. The Private Reserve is a beautiful unique community and has come a long way... thanks to all of the residents and the staff. It is not a perfect world and during the construction process at any location issues may arise and can be challenging at times but ultimately will be resolved. There is no doubt that The Private Reserve offers very spacious and unique townhomes with features that cannot be found anywhere near here.
Again, it is of the utmost importance to me that the residents at The Private Reserve feel comfortable and enjoy calling this home so to the author of this review... I wish that you would have made an attempt to make me aware of your concerns so that maybe you would not feel the way you do and if you would like to at this point please do. It is very upsetting to know that someone feels this way and whatever may have caused it was certainly not intentional. To any residents, future resident, and/or prosective resident please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, etc. I can be reached by calling the office or you may email me at dschwedler@myindycondo.com.

Snakes, coyotes, possums, really now ? How far fetched of a review is this ? Did anyone see the pink elephant or T-Rex ? Denise is very friendly and very nice to everyone. She does not have a mean bone on her body. She is all smiles at all times and she cant ever be angry, not in her.
