SLS Management, Inc. (SLS), an Indianapolis Housing Authority (IHA) Section 8 landlord, pled guilty in Marion County Superior Court, Indianapolis, IN, to welfare fraud. A component of the plea agreement requires SLS to pay IHA $300,000 and the IHA Police Department $30,000 and relinquish claim to IHA Section 8 payments totaling $122,000. SLS, owned and managed by Vladimir Sklarov, who previously entered into a civil settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), agreeing to a lifetime exclusion from federal programs or receiving federal procurement and nonprocurement funds, acted under SLS and illegally obtained more than $500,000 in IHA Section 8 housing assistance payments. people run from this complex the reviews are all correct these people are trained by a convicted crimanal on how to f--- their residents
