These reviews seem skeptical to me. How can these people live in the same place as I and have good things to say' I wrote one of the first reviews on this place called 'Shiny poop is still poop'. Here is an update. The huge hole behind the dryer has been repaired, they fixed the sliding door after it got warm (which kind of defeated the purpose), and that's about it.
I had one roommate move out so I now inherited the big room with even more problems. There is structural cracking in the walls, noticably large (about 3 - 1 foot cracks). There is some kind of hole in the floor that feels like a board was not nailed down under the carpet or something (it creeks and scares you the first time when you think you are going through the floor). Both the bedroom door and bathroom door are messed up. I was able to tighten some screws and get them to close properly, but the latches on the fronts I had to take off because the doors won't latch right and can be simply pushed open. I still have a door for the spare room that won't latch and rubs the carpet. It's funny because the maintenance guy came (after seriously 2 weeks), I gave up and assumed he wasn't coming, and said the doors looked fine. He didn't even notice that the hardware was removed, that's how attentive these guys are!! Worst of all I have an ant problem. I reported it on the 10th of April and was told that I had to wait a month for them to spray because they only come on the first Tuesday of every month. I bought poison and killed probably a hundred since then, but I don't think anyone has ever come out and sprayed yet. I am going to do it myself, like everything else.
The security gate is still not working and to make matters worse you cannot call someone from it, so half the time you pull up there is someone parked in front of it who cannot get in. I spend half the time getting out to let some shady bag of deuche in that I don't know. I don't even care anymore. I just want out of this place.
There is another reviewer that wrote about the weight room. It is pathetic. It is slightly above non existent. 90% of the equipment doesn't work. About the only thing worth while in there is free weights, which you get anywhere you go. It's kinda hard to mess up free weights, although I wouldn't put it past them. Also, don't count on swimming in the pool without getting hypothermia. They fill it with a garden hose structure so it is so cold it's not even fun to get it. We ended up going to the public pool and paying last year just to try and enjoy ourselves.
Make sure to check out the Better Business Bureau on these guys before buying and see that they are not accredited:
