Turtle Creek Apartments

ready to move on! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/30/2004 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004   In my opinion the quality of life at Turtle Creek has really diminished. The carpets in building #2 are always dirty and spotted. Its embarrassing when guests visit. Often times the elevator is stinky! I have new neighbors that hang out in the parking lot and laugh/talk very loudly late at nite. They also have very loud screeching cars with very loud stereos.I also hear drunks outside arguing as well as in the hallways. Sometimes I have to close my windows due to the smells of smoke. (And sometimes I dont think its cigarette smoke). I fear the ghetto is moving to Turtle Creek. Plus the St. Vincent Hospital Heli-port is near. The helicopters are very loud several times a day and nite. You cant even hear the tv!As soon as my lease is up, Im outta there. I have lived there for 5 years. Its not a horrible place, but not a great one anymore. Soon, Turtle CReek will be subsidized apartments which I suspect will cause an even greater influx of ghetto-types.
