Affordable, but time to move on...2004-2007 From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007   Hello To Everyone Reading! I have lived in Turtle Creek Apartments since 2004. In 2006 the renovation was complete. My favorite part of these apartments are the kitchens, they are just gorgeous and roomy. The rent is affordable! However, they charge me $15 per month for my cat, which I think is ridiculous! So my rent now for a one bedroom is $485 - They raise it $20 a year...$5 for me and $15 for my pet cat. Here are some of the things that have irritated me over the years living here. The smoke alarm goes off all the time while I attempt to cook something to eat. Before cooking, I have to turn on the fans and open the patios doors. Some people here don't take care and throw their trash in the hallways and parking lots..and sometimes, it just lays there for days. The ventilation on the 2nd floor (where I live) and probably the 3rd floor are poor!! In the summer, the the 2nd floor hallway is smoldering hot with no air conditioning. The walls are thin and I have heard lots of racket from the neighbors since I've lived here. People move in and out a lot....and this might be silly to say for most of you, but I hear people having sex through out the night...because they leave their windows open or they are or have been my neighbors...lol - (loud screams and groans from women)...lol - It is just rude to me is all.. Finally, I found this website searching on the search engines for apartments because I feel it is time for me to move on... I do not want to live in a 3 story apartment building again. And, I prefer to live closer North, more clean and rural.
