i lived in valley forge apartments long enough to see trends...


1) poor maintenance


2) leaky air conditionings


3) pettiness, intolerance on the part of


the owner


4) many staff members with a lack of


respect for the elderly


5) old, worn carpet


6) ENTIRELY TOO MANY unannounced visits by


employees into your residence while


you?re at work


7) a swimming pool that is closed more


than it?s open during the summer


(*LAST YEAR, THE POOL WAS CLOSED FOR


THE SUMMER MID-JULY BECAUSE, AS WE WERE


TOLD, "TENANTS CONTINUE TO USE


SUNSCREEN WHILE IN THE WATER AND THE


POOL WATER HAS BECOME OILY.")


8) electrical/heating/cooling problems


of which someone should truly inform


the board of health


9) offensive, curt warnings regularly


tacked to door


10) a landlady who couldn?t possibly care


much for the comfort of her tenants





there are plenty of beautiful, reasonable apartments in indianapolis. you don?t have to settle for this one.





ps....and forget about getting back your security deposit, regardless of the condition of your apartment when you leave.
