The Blacherne From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/12/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   If you enjoy the downtown life the Blacherne is the place to live. I lived on the 5th floor and i loved it. The views of the War Memorial and the views of the city. I enjoyed being just north of the city because it was a safe walk to the bars. Nighttime was relaxing in that part of the city so it was nice to sleep in peace and not hearing cars and other noises that the south side poses.
