After reading the earlier, inaccurate accountings of this apartment, I feel obligated to correct this misinfomrations there. I was just looking to see how the ranking was and I found some ugly comments. Let me say, this apartment is lovely. It is so very nice in every way. Everything is fresh, paint, frasses, flowers, everything. I have nice neighbors. How can you not feel safe' It is a totally secured building. I have never seen a stranger here and my neigh bors are all so sweet. So, lets me say, this is nice place. I love it. The owners are all so nice and carings. I feel I am very lucky to live here, in great city, with complete safety and harmony. I cannot understand hurtful things said. They are simply not true.

Just wait, if you aren't the owner. After I posted my comment a couple of years ago, there was a nasty response given by the owner who actually called me a vile piece of ---- person. He is a liar, the place is a dump. I reported an assumption that the owner was boosting the postings and AR deleted his posting. They can trace these postings to IP addresses. If anyone else who has been robbed by the owner or treated poorly, please let Apartment Rating know and they will review the post and possible delete it. (if it's fraudulent). It would be interesting to see how many times the posted comments correlate to the same IP address. If you plan on moving to the Victoria - RUN. Thieves, liars and prejudice. Ask how many people of color live in the apartments. If you're a person of color, try applying there. This guy is unbelievable. Also, when we moved out, we had a slew of witnesses there the day of the walk through and we had three cameras so the owner couldn't withhold my deposit. I learned the hard way. Also, look out for untoward advances from the owner and the racial slurs from the maintenance guy. They are two peas in a poorly run, barely livable pod. Good luck to you, Mr. Proprietor - bad business begets bad business. If anyone else has problems with this place, please contact the Secretary of State's office and file a complaint. I did and they keep them on file and if enough are collected, they will be looked into. Also, make sure to report health code violations such as the heating issue to the health dept. They will come out and inspect and give him so many days to fix the problem, if he doesn't, you can get out of your lease for non-compliance of Indiana code. Good luck to you all. It's been two years and I've happily been removed from the slum. Oh, and the owner sent me a slew of e-mails in the guise of tenants, he has about a fifth grade writing level, so you can pretty much tell which reviews are his. ie - all the 5.0's when the best it could ever get would be a 3. Nice abuse of Apartment Ratings, Proprietor. I hope you've lost that 130.00 from me ten fold for stealing it. OH! I also forgot, I paid my carpet cleaning with my last rent check and he took it out of my security deposit and never returned it. THIEF.

Wow. A whole paragraph this time? Sinc eyou have been "remoived form the slum" as you said, that must mean evicted? Sure enough, if you're evicted you won't have anything nice to say. In my experience, living here no, not a "couple of years ago", like you claim, it is great. Sorry about you getting kicked out and they kept some of your deposit but hey, that is what happens I guess? Keeping your life in order and not getting kicked out is the first step to a happy life at any apartment, condo, house, anyplace. To claim that they do "this & that" is just wrong and untrue. The building is great, located ideally downtown, safe and clean and affordable too. To say such things about the staff is weird. Insulting their education? Racial bias? My neighbor is an ------- american woman and you see people here from all over the world. Have never seen anything even close to a health code violation. And they sent you emails pretending to be tenants? Why would they do that? Your personal issues aside, and it sounds like paranoia may be one them, try saying nice things to people in general. It makes you feel better and the world a nicer place. Oh...the best part...sorry to inform you but if you try to sign in differently than the first time, like I just did, it says you CAN'T do it becasue of the IP address check. So, I'm sorry you're just wrong there too. But I wish you well.
