Check the BBB of Indiana they have several complaints. I do agree that maintenace and building manager are a bit shady.
The apts are pretty cheep for downtown There is not a pool or anything like that just the basic apartment.
Yes, the area is a bit unsafe at times but that is with any city.

I looked at BBB first, before moving in...there are no bad reviews at all. Not one complaint! But I did find some charitable contributions. So much for your "unbiased" accounting. I remain very happy here and recommend it, to nice people, if they have any studios available. If you are unhappy with the staff I suggest you report it to the owner, who always seems available.

I too checked the BBB and the sex offender thing on line. All clear. They seems to have a good way to select nice people to live here. My neighbors are all very nice. I am lucky to have found Victoria. I will live here surely until I am finished with my schools. I worry about any anonymous reviews generally speaking but know that I for one really likes it here.
