I signed on for a year lease in July of 06 and didn't have too many issues with the Victoria. I lived on the third floor, which while moving stuff up the stairs wasn't fun (though better than most places since the stairs are straight), I really enjoyed it. I didn't have all the 'strip club noise' people here seem to be talking about, though I have been bothered by some of it's patrons at times (but that happens anywhere they serve beer downtown). The summertime was a little hard, as no AC can be tough, but the winter was nice and warm, plus with gas heating my electric bill stayed around the $12 range. The only problem I ever had was with a leak in the ceiling (which was caused by an unfortunate timing of work on the roof at the same time as a really nasty storm came through). Other than that everything was great, friendly owner, helpful maintenance guy, and quiet neighbors. Only reason I moved out was because I needed a bigger place to share with another person.
