old buildings, horrible maintenance, high rent

I have lived in Bent Tree townhomes for 3 years. The townhomes are extremely old so they have alot of problems (insulation, cracks in wall, heat, and even the appliances inside). When I contact the office for maintenance issues, I usually have to call a couple of times before they answer. Also they raised the rent last year and I refused to pay because they were not
keeping up the place and they agreed they could do better and left my rent as is.
I would agree that it is a quiet neigborhood and safe, which are the main reasons I remained there.
