Not move in, if I were you.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
After reading all other comments, I decided to share my experiences. Before I signed the lease, the staff told me the water is free. When I signed it, I found out it's not free. I asked her, she told me that "well, it's only 20 dollars a month. You are the only person who have ever complain about it." I asked, didn't you said it's free when I just took a look at the apartment. She claimed they just changed it. Liar! And I paid 40 dollars a month. The bill was not from water company, it was from Bent Tree office. Go figure...
The day I moved in, the carpet is soaking wet. In order not to ruin my furniture, I decide to move in when it's dry. As other resident reported, they have no clue who is moving in and out....!' Big joke for apartment management.
I did not have any hot water for four days after I moved in. I made several phone calls, office staff advised me to call gas company. To make long story short, it turned out that the maintenance forgot to turn it on.
Safety is a serious issue. One week after I moved in, my car was broken into, cd player and all other expensive stuff were gone. The day after my neighbor's car was broken into as well. Another few days, another neighbor's door was broken into, of course all cash, checks, credit cards were gone. We all reported to manager. The only thing he can say is "you are responsibility for your own property." He even asked what kind of car I drive, then told me "you are dirving a nice car and put it in where people can see, of couse they try to get you." what kind of theory is that' So, you buy a car to put it in your garage and walk to grocery and work'
Office staffs are absolutely unhelpful. Don't even mention the manager! I would like to know what kind of car he drive.
Do not move into Bent Tree unless you like troubles.
