Good and bad
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/13/2005
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
Good:
- Spacious apartments.
- They were repainting the outside of apartments when we visited last.
- Quiet, no crime we knew of.
- Close to EVERYTHING.
Bad:
- Rent prices have increased SIGNIFICANTLY in the past year, almost $100 increases.
- Maintenance was TERRIBLE. They took 3 MONTHS to fix our dishwasher after multiple calls to the office. We FINALLY called Aimco and they fixed it the next day!
- Paint is peeling off of apartments, trash thrown around areas in the back of the complex.
- Smashed garage doors that have obviously been sitting like that for years.
- Pools had been under renovation the whole year we were there.
- Application fee was ASTRONOMICAL: $41 Which took 10 minutes.
- Multiple calls to maintenance don't help, call Aimco direct if you want something done.
- Pro-rated move-in dates, no breaks, no free month of rent. Tons of apartments, lots of cash flow....but what are they DOING with it' Playing golf' Obviously not a responsible owner, go elsewhere.
It isn't the most eye appealing complex. It could be if they kept up with maintenance. Look elsewhere if you have the credit!
