not what we hoped

After 6 months, we're already looking for a new place. Waterside's location is very convenient and we got a great deal on the price (waived the administration fee and application fee, free carport, and 12 $100 off rent coupons) but the experience is only so-so. The big deal is water damage. We've already had 4 leaks and all but 1 of them come from inside the walls which means big drywall damage and mold. The other leak is a window that we're waiting to get replaced. Unfortunately we discovered it too late to save the books that were near it. The appliances are old but work well (the microwave takes forever, though) and we love our balcony. But we asked for a no-smoking appartment (allergies) and 6 months later we're still trying to get the smoke smell out of our bedroom. The AC had broken twice and the thermostat has never read the proper temperature. We also had a kitchen drawer fall out and the garbage disposal break and leak - gross. The staff is helpful and fairly punctual so I suppose most of our problems could be overlooked, but the immense plumbing problems are the deal-breaker. After 6 months and 4 leaks I'm in pain thinking about the next 6 months.
