No hot water - 5 days, No heat - off and on for 4 weeks, Now - no a/c.
It all started after I moved in. I kept running out of hot water. A 10 minute shower and wait over two hours to heat up even with the dial set on full hot. Finally the water heater started leaking on the downstairs neighbors and it got replaced. We had no hot water for 5 days as they ordered the wrong heater (too big) then the weekend staff shortage, maintenance man quit, etc. I went to the clubhouse to shower but alas, the hot water was off there too. If fact, there was no water in the shower in the men's room at all. Just to the toilet and sink.
Then the last of Jan thru mid Feb my furnace pilot light kept going out. Almost daily. One of the maintenance men said that because we had the blower on circulating the air a lot, it blew the pilot out. This is a gas furnace. Duh! The fan cannot blow into the firebox as it would blow carbon monoxide into the apartment. And it ran all last summer on a/c and lit right up first time it got cold. Like I told them, I quit working. I don't know why. Excuses. Excuses. Finally maintenance told my roommate how to light it himself because we were calling too much and they were too busy to handle it on the weekend or during the night!! Can you believe it' Finally I got a new furnace which works great. But now that it's warmed up outside and the temp has been in the high 70's and about 80 and there is no air conditioning. I live upstairs with vaulted ceiling. There's one window and one patio door on the smae side of the building. There's no cross ventilation. I need the a/c!!
I reported this to the manager and I got a voice mail stating that there's nothing they can do unless the temperature is above 80 degrees to check the a/c. They must think I am stupid. Guess we'll wait and see what happens.

Well they finally got the a/c going first week of April when it got in the 80's. Then turned off cold and we needed the heat. Then, this week again it got hot, and no a/c again. The took 48 hours to get it recharged and it's working again so we'll see how long it lasts.
