Terrible Managment!

These apartments are under construction right now and both construction workers & management have been extremely rude during the process (some, not all of course). Cable as well as electricity have been shut off a couple of times. Parking is limited. Cars are at major risk for damage. Patio use has been restricted for over a month now. As a person who has lived in apartments that were being remodeled before, I have to say this project has been poorly planned, poorly executed, and has no clear end in sight!
Furthermore, before construction even started and still to this day, there were/are major problems with the following: loud noise, no visible security or parole, unenforced pet restrictions, suspected MAJOR DRUG ACTIVITY, missing packages, & tons of unsupervised kids who have damaged the apartment's property as well as residents cars.
I would steer clear of this place!!!! Unless you want to pay a high price for a shoddy home don't even think about applying here.

I lived at Waterside at Castleton for 2 years and am a property manager myself (no, not at Waterside). Unfortunately renovations dont always go off without a hitch and the balcony restrictions were put in place for your safety. Apartment communties are not responsible for providing security! Residents are responsible for their own safety and should always be aware of their surroundings and act accordingly. People who rent need to stop thinking it is the properties responsibility to babysit the residents. According to all disgruntled residents (the people who post these comments) EVERY community in Indy has drug activity, unsupervised kids, break ins....it's life, it will happen whether you live in an apartment on the westside or a huge home is Geist. Grow up and accept responsibility for yourselves. Crime knows no boundries.

I am not sure if this person just had a bad day at work or what. This is a forum for people to voice their opinions about apartments. You can't get mad at them if they had a bad experience. I wonder how you would feel if you had something happen to you while you lived here and felt as if the management was ignoring you and could care less about your problems. I'm sure you don't treat your residents like that but this management does.
