Horrible Neighbors, Horrible Apartment

When I first saw the place I liked it. The woman who showed us around was nice and the model apartment seemed okay. Sure, it was a little expensive but for the location it was worth it. Then I moved in. On moving day I was informed by a neighbor that I should leave as soon as possible because there had been multiple car break-ins recently. Luckily, I was only there for a short period of time and am getting ready to move out.
Moving in was a hassle. The carpet wasn't ready and I had to wait six hours with my car full of my stuff while the carpet guys slowly did their job. When I asked when they would be done after waiting a couple hours the guy was rather rude and told me to go somewhere else, he had work to do.
When I was finally able to move in, I wasn't impressed. While the apartment isn't anything spectacular, the neighbors are horrible. My light fixtures literally shake whenever my upstairs neighbors move and I can often hear them talking. There are a lot of young people who like to stay up late, hanging out in the parking lot, which is really annoying when you actually have a job and have to get up early. Also, I question the type of people they have living here. I was going for a run around the neighborhood when I first moved in (something I am now afraid to do) when some kid approached me and offered to sell me drugs. Um, no thanks.
Also, the pools are horrible, when open. One was empty for over half the summer. The parking is adequate if you just have one vehicle. Any more and good luck. The 'newly-renovated' fitness room is a joke--just a handful of old machines. There is one washer and dryer to service an entire building (eight apartments) and the space is poorly kept. Multiple times the machines weren't working at all.

i agree totally. this place sucks. i have lived here just over a year and could not find a place closer to my work and with the economy the way it is, i just decided to stay. it is not HORRIBLE but pretty close. if you have the time and the means, i'd say go elsewhere.

It is JVM, it sucks . Stephon Bouldin is regional manager over waterside. GO ELSEWHERE, the hanging out and drugs in summer and WINTER. Just so much more to say but the best thing to say is move out if you can, and do not move in if you are thinking on it..lol lol lol lol lol
