Waterstone where do we start. Lets get the best things about waterstone out of the way. First of all I got my deposit back. Hooray. Second I got back my deposit. Last I got back my deposit. As you can see I am sooooo happy I moved out of that apartment, it was managed by a stool pigeon bootcamp sergeant.... HI LORENA!!!!!!!! I will list the problems.
1.) Bugs and Spiders. I was promised for a whole 12month 31 day lease that they would spray..... Never happened.
2.) Noisy ghetto neighbors.
3.) Heater broke in the middle of the winter and they didn't come to fix it for over 24 mnths. They never fixed the heater properly and my bill was never under $290 check with IPL they will tell you.
4.) Apartment flooded 3 times due to neighbors pipes busting.
5.) My garage door spring broke and luckily I had another car outside it took them 3 *$&*(#$ days to even show up and fix it.
their excuse was it was a holiday.
6.) Somewhere in the middle of all these problems I asked to be released from my lease and was basically laughed at.
PLEASE READ ON THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D O N T M O V E H E R E U W I L L R E G R E T I T

7.) There was MOLD on the wall in my bathroom the size in diameter of a basketball.
8.) My hotwater heater blew a valve and guess what flooded my apartment again.
9.) My dishwasher motor was broke and the part was on backorder for 2 months. I never used it but it stank soooooo bad.
10.) The security gates left you driving around the complex looking for an exit or opening.
11.)People like to break into cars here......

That was all that came to mind if you move in here I wish you good luck!!!!!!!!!!
I am a homeowner that moved to Indianapolis for business and had a horrible time with Waterstone "LUXURY" Apartments
I suggest moving somewhere nicer for the money. The nice looking grounds is a Mirage to the truth @ Waterstone!

PS where is the option to rate no stars''''''

1. You need to call the office to be scheduled for pest control. The company comes out every week, but you need to put your name on the list to be sprayed. 2. Noise complaints are handled by the office. Residents are evicted if there are numerous complaints from several people in the building. First: written or verbal warning. Second: meeting with the property manager. Third: eviction. Ghetto... every resident goes through a credit and criminal background check. 3. 24 months? You should have contacted IPL and the property manager. If the heater wasn't fixed or working, the mgmt company would have probably reimbursed you. 4. Pipes can freeze and burst. What was the aftermath? 5. 24 hour maintenance is for emergencies. Had that been your only vehicle, it would have been handled differently. 6. You could have broken your lease, just pay 2 month's rent. 7. Was the mold issue ever reported? 8. Could have happened anywhere. Was it fixed? 9. Parts don't usually take 2 months. If anything, the dishwasher could have been switched out with another. 10. Access gates are not guaranteed to work and it's in the lease agreement. 11. Crime happens everywhere.

In response to the response above... 1. The office doesn't tell people about this weekly pest control... so, no one knows about it. Probably to cut their costs that the pest control company charges them. 2. It may be in the lease, but I'd really like to see the management throw someone out for noise... only a scare tactic in the lease. 3. Sometimes you just get tired of calling for the same issue when they can't fix something properly. 4. Yeah, pipes can freeze and burst... but 3 times because of a neighbor's pipes doesn't sound like freezing, sounds like a maintenance problem. 5. Just because you have two cars doesn't mean it's not an emergency... maybe it was two adults in the apartment that needed two vehicles. 6. Yes, it's in the lease agreement... but 2 months rent used as a fee to break a lease is not a small fee. So, don't talk like it's no big deal. 7. Okay, nothing on this one. I agree, if it wasn't reported it wouldn't be corrected. 8. It may have been fixed, but still aggravating when you guys expect people to have renters insurance to replace belongings since you won't replace them when maintenance issues like this happen. 9. Okay, nothing on this one either. I would have spoke up sooner than 2 months. 10. Access gates aren't guaranteed to work? That's your response? Yeah, you may have people sign this statement when moving in, but it's something that we're paying for... it's built into that rent price somewhere, and don't say it's not... and if you don't guarantee that they work, why do you put "Gated Community" in all of your marketing/advertising material? 11. Yeah, crime happens everywhere, but face it... it happens more in the area that Waterstone is in (Lafayette Square/W. 38th St. area).
