To those who have not lived here long I can understand why you may like this place but just give it some time. I have lived at this apartment complex for many years and really liked this place especially with the first set of managers and office staff. It was too bad that it was bought out because the changes made have had a setback on this place. Just after this place got bought out we had a shooting, several thefts, broken gates, and for a while the pot holes were a big issue. I would say for the money you pay here too many people have dealt with a lot of issues, including myself, such as leaks, mold, a/c unit going out, our hot water won't even fill half the tub, you can hear right through the walls because of the material (the last tenants were noisy but we moved and even though this tenant isn't noisy you can hear what they do through the walls), and should I mention the bugs. Just to forewarn anyone wanting to move here or currently lives here they have established a policy now that if you are even 1 day late after the 3rd day at close on your rent they take 10% of your rent for a late payment. That means if you are paying $1,200.00 a month you owe an extra $120.00 per day you're late. Now I can't argue that they have a late fee because everyone does but to literally take advantage of people is ridiculous. We've given this place over $30,000.00 to live here, have been good tenants, and haven't had problems on rent but now they've becoming legalistic. People do make mistakes, get too busy, leave town, have issues arise, or in today's financial economy may even have financial troubles that needs a few extra days to fix and they penalize you heavily. The late fee used to be manageable but now I think I have found the largest late fee penalty to date here at these apartments.
