I have lived in this complex for 5 months. I live at the front of the complex, near the entrance and highway, so I expected to hear a lot of traffic noise and police cars. This has not been the case at all. My apartment is quiet. I rarely hear my neighbors coming or going and they all seem pleasant. The grounds are well taken care of and in the recent snow my sidewalk was cleared before I had to go to work.

I had some serious maintenance issues when I first moved in as my a/c would work for four days and then quit. After contacting the complex manager and presenting a documentation of maintenance visits everything was replaced - inside and out - to make certain that the units would work properly.

No complex is a utopia, regardless of how much you pay. I lived in a private building in Plainfield and had things stolen from me and lived next door to drug abusers and a ex convict. Westlake has been much better.
