We were shown an apartment that was really nice looking and in a nice area of the complex. We agree to move in, sign the lease, and then asked to see our apartment. The office lady said that it was being cleaned and we cannot see it. She said "she could get fired." We should have known right then that this was the wrong place to move into. We find the apartment on our own....it was located in one of the worse areas of the complex. Trash, dirty/loud neighbors, and looked dangerous. All we could see was the outside of our apartment since we couldn't go inside due to it being cleaned. As a matter of fact.....nobody was even in there at the time. We have been living here for 7 months now and wish that we NEVER should have signed the lease. Our car was broken into a few months ago. Security is a joke....and if you complain about something, they will turn it all around and piss off the neighbors of something you didn't say. Then again, who cares about those neighbors; they are lazy and inconsiderate. Maintenance is okay, but could be better. Overall, this place is a mess. We should not have moved in and now we are stuck here until our lease is up.

Wow, for a second I thought I was reading my own review! We haven't moved in yet, but stopped by to check out the apartment and they did the same thing. So we walked around the complex ourselves....Aaaaargh! Ghetto! The one they showed us was so nice and everywhere else was trashy. The one we're supposed to get is all delapidated and the neighbors were cat-calling as I held my hubby's hand walking down the sidewalk in the middle of the day! These guys looked like vato drug dealers just standing around looking for trouble. The apartment they showed us had a view of the lake from the kitchen window, but ours had a view of the fence, the 6' tall weeds, some pipes, and stairs. We are going to cancel the lease before it begins, such a HUGE let-down, we were so excited about this place! I only hope they don't try and keep our deposit, I might have to go into mega-b-i-t-c-h-mode.
BTW all the cars being broken into might explain why there were so many guys hanging out in the parking lot "fixing" their cars.
