So I had a roommate who had a dog. The dog ripped the carpet. The people in Williamsburg allowed her to sign her name off the lease knowing she had damages. (Nothing matters when there is two names on the lease) Then I had the head maintenance man inspect the damamges, Him and Nicole the old manager both said the carpet had to be replaced. So I recieved an estimate of almost $400. They stated the carpet was only a year old. (YEA RIGHT) The carpet didn't even stick to the floor. So yea what this all comes down to is they tried to scam me and one of there own ruined it. When I was doing my inspection at the end of my lease, a maintenance guy that had been there the whole year i had lived there looked at the carpet and looked at me, he said all they needed to do was patch it. Now I have to pay $75, thats it!! I am very happy about it but at the same time I think it is very shady of the office! Do not move here they are shady this neighborhood is becoming the next Cottages at Fall Creek!!! GHETTO

I am the current manager at Williamsburg North, and while this resident is true in stating that we had charged her only $75 for the damages, we did in fact had to remove and replace her approx. 1 year old carpet. In addition, we did also have to seal the floors due to the pet damage. The reason that we only charged her $75 for her apartment is that there was an error when the inspection took place and the technician that went with her did charge her for the pet damage for some reason.
And, regardless of the age of the carpet, it would never stick to the floor. We do not glue our carpet down, it is attached in the same manor as it would be in any home, it is placed over a pad and is tacked down on the tack strip.

You were not even the manager anymore when I moved out. My carpet did not need to be replaced and it was way older than a year. Also seal what floors?? They only damage was on the carpet. If your talking about the downstairs floors under the carpet, that may be from the toliets in my building over flowing and you all letting it sit there for like 6 hrs. The pet damage was from an old roommate (which you guys knew, and you had no problem signing her off the lease) If everyone was so concerned with it, then maybe when I made my appoitment for my inspection (which I had to call 3 times to get someone to show up) they should of had the guy who looked at it before, come in and do it. The guy who did do it knew what he was doing I spoke to his girlfriend he has worked there for a few years, it also is very funny that right after that happened the guy left and went to another complex. hmmm. It doesn't matter now I hope the new managers will do a lot better. I am not alone with my complaints, lots of residence were very unhappy, I had a girl across the street just up and leave because of people being held ay gunpoint, and nothing was being done to protect us. I had other people get evicted for having the cops called on them because they were yelling at each other.( They get evicted but the parents of the children walking around with guns get to stay) I had many attempted break ins and nothing was ever even done. Then you attempted to make me a single white female live on my own due to a complaint on my boyfriend that you cant prove was him and you took the complaint from a man who tried to kick in my door 3 times! You all only cared about certain people. I am sorry that my old room mate started dating someones boyfriend in the office, I dont think I should have been treated like crap for a year because of it.
I dont apperciate being called out on this, the website is for residents to tell future residents about there experience. It doesnt seem very fair that managers and EX managers can get on and try to make us sound like liars and leave good reports, to up there score. I am telling my experience exactly how it happened. It sucks that anything I post is responed to by you saying I am a liar. Your response on my last complaint was crap you know I contacted the office ALL THE TIME! Nothing was EVER done. When I moved out my windows were still broken, my oven handle fell off, and my toliet ( from your plumber) ran 24/7. Everything said by this management company is a load of crap straight from there behinds. I would never recommend you guys to my worst enemy. I was taken advantage of and walked on the whole time. The only thing good you guys did is let me sign my first roommate off the lease, and I know you had no problem doing that since the whole "Maintenance Guy thing" Williamsburg North will very soon be rated with the The Cottages of Fall Creek and Probably be all over the news for Assualts and Robberies. Umm.. Did you know that Pizza Hut doesn;t deliver to Williamsburg North after dark because they were Robbed multiple Times?? Just something to think about if you decide to move it... You better call early.
