So yeah, I highly recommend not even considering living in this place. It sounds all nice and the people seem nice. But by the end of the app process you soon realize the type of people you are dealing with. I thought this was the place i wanted to live. A 2 bedroom townhome was going to soon be available. They were offering me no security deposit and $300 off my first months rent. Sounded like a pretty good deal. Also, with us working at a local hospital were were supposed to get entitled to even a better deal with a % off our rent. So i went ahead and applied thinking this was where i wanted to live. WRONG!!! After i give pay the $50 app fee things change. Soon my 0 Security Deposit is now one months rent at $655. Then all the sudden that 2 bedroom townhome for $655 is not available. My option is now a 2 bedroom garden style on the ground level for the exact same price. How can you even think of considering that you should pay the same price for a garden style with 1 bath that you would for a 2 bed 2 bath townhome, that makes no sense to me. It gets better though. So now since i am in a ground level garden style, i am no longer able to get the $300 off on the first months rent, because that special is only for the upstairs and townhomes. So instead of walking into this place paying not even $360 including app fee($10 towards app, $40 towards deposit and holding fee). I was then looking at paying $1345. Around $1000 more just to move in that i was told and quoted. Well this wasnt acceptable to me. I have since found a BIGGER townhouse(1225 sq ft) with more baths and better patio areas. The place i am now at didnt require any extra deposit, they said $200 and depending on credit it could be more, well it wasnt. JUST $200 like i was told. The rent is about $10 more a month but where i am staying they gave me the first months rent free. So in all going with the second choice its going to save me over $1300 more. So after i decided i wasnt living at Williamsburg North I call them and let them know why, which was funny because the office girl totally agreed with me that it all made sense and it didnt suprise her what happened. Another sign that they know what they are doing to people. So i asked about the $40 holding fee i paid with the $10 app fee, and of course i was told that i wouldnt be getting that back. So good for you williamsburg north, you can take that $50 and go look for another sucker and just go ahead and shove it where the sun dont shine!!!

FROM THE WILLIAMSBURG NORTH MANAGEMENT TEAM: I would like to begin by apologizing for the apparent miscommunication in our application policies and procedures. We do strive to provide excellent service to everyone, however, there are certain procedures that must be followed to ensure equal and fair treatment for every single applicant. If an application is not completed on the initial visit to our community, I cannot guarantee that particular apartment home or quoted special will still be available upon your return. We do also abide by very strict resident selection criteria that may require a deposit equal to one month’s rent if certain qualifications are not met. We also have policies in place for refunding any monies collected to reserve an apartment and will gladly do so in accordance with these policies. Again, I apologize that this information as not communicated to you upon your first visit and hope that in the future you will consider Williamsburg North for your home.
