Overall nice place to live

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
Shortly after our marriage in June 2001, my husband and I relocated to Indy. We chose Willow Lake Apartments because of the location and the floor plans. We lived in two different floor plans during our time there. First, we moved into the "two bedroom grand" apartment. The apartment is great, but it is costly (about $1200). It was quite large and featured a master-bathroom whirlpool. After living there for about 14 months, we decided that we couldn't afford it any longer, so we changed to the "two bedroom premier" apartment. It was also a decent apartment, although the floor plan is a bit scrunched together and again, it is costly (about $1050). Overall, I would say that Willow Lake is a nice place to live. Maintenance was good and we never had any really problems with the office staff. The apartments are quiet and parking was never a problem. The units are older, though and they do have a small problem with spiders and wood roaches. We only moved so that we could save money. I do feel like that area of Indy is starting to turn semi-ghetto, though, so be careful.
