People should really stop complaining. This apartment complex is excellent. It is so good I even moved from a newer place to stay here. I've noticed that a lot of the complaints come from people who always find something to @%$#@ about regardless of the situation. As in the complaint about the leak and the heat request. The reason why maintainence had to come back several times is because they were probably looking to see if the most conservative way would solve the problem first (and many times it does). You don't automatically re-roof a place just because of 1 leak. If they did, they obviously would have to transfer these costs to the residents (then these same residents would start complaining about the rent increase). Secondly, the reason why a daytime request for heat probably took longer than expected' The answer is also in the complainer's review.."luckily it is not that cold outside." On a busy day when there are lots of priorities, fixing heat when it is not cold outside isn't one of them as there is no chance of the resident being uncomfortable or threatened due to adverse temperatures.
The fitness equipment is about the same as other complexes I've been in and I would hardly say it's outdated.
Overall, this place is beautiful and the staff is polite, informative, and helpful. I feel sorry for them as I have personally been in the office when they have had to deal with ignorant, grandiose, "I am god and do as I say Now," personality tenants.
I encourage all tenants to get on here and write positive reviews about their true experiences-otherwise the grandiose complainers will sully our apartment complex name!

This posting looks like it has come from management 'anonymously'. The comments are typical of management as they try to exlain why things are not fixed. Regardless, this place has problems. But in fairness to management, I am willing to give them some, but not much, benefit of the doubt. Sometimes I get the feeling that management does not get things done because they are handcuffed by the owners budget restraints. And then there are times that management is lazy and just doesn't care. Either way, things don't get fixed. The equipment in the workout room may be old but there is no excuse for not fixing it when it breaks. Both of the elliptical machines have been broken since last summmer. Management has been notified of this and at one point they put a sign on the machines that said they would be fixed by the end of business on August 28. The signs are gone and the machines were never touched. The multi station machine has pieces missing and has been down for the last three months. I would like to hear what management says about this. Overall, management has not been responsive to problems I have reported. I find this very frustrating. I am not a complainer but am made to feel that way when I report problems that should be fixed. Yes there are people that complain about everything. But that does not excuse management from responding to legitimate complaints. And as for hermhilda@gmail.com, good for you if you have not had any problems. But there are sure a bunch of us here that have. And if you don't think so, maybe people can start copying you with their problems. Just because you have not experienced any problems doesn't mean they don't exist. And people that report these problems on this board are not trying to "sully our apartment complex name".

I am not a member of management nor am I employed with NTS. I never said I never had problems-I had 2 maintenance requests that were fulfilled in a timely, professional manner. The world is not perfect and things do go wrong sometimes. But the manner of complaining that is done on this site is not warranted. I don't know about the elliptical machines or the multi station machines-there is other equipment to use. Try cross training...Or, buy your own home exercise equipment. I have one of mine. Then you will never be able to complain about waiting in line or about something breaking--until you have to call a repair shop to come in your home and fix it for a nice price. What the apartment complex is providing us (and what we are mainly paying for) is a beautiful, well solidly construction apartment home with unique design, awesome landscaping, and a great location in Indianapolis.
