Let's start from the positive things:
Apartments are really in good location, near 465,65, main foodstores.
Maintenance did their job on time, little bit improved situation with trash around the grounds and even around middle pond, though there still bottles and trash floating in the middle pond, sometimes for a weeks. Improved situation with carports (others don't park their cars in your place so often). Some floor plans are realy nice and brite inside.Relativelly low heating costs - well insulated after remodeling.That's about it for good things.
Now bad part:
NOT SAFE. I mean it. In last year alone, somebody attacked my neighbour, guy put the gun to girl's head, took purse and ran away. Somebody tryed to pull kids to the bushes, while they waited for school bus. Just recently somebody robbed and shot(thankfully not fatally) another tennant. I found my car with broken windows twice - nothing was taken, but it cost me 280$ just for windows. I never had any problems with any neighbours, nor I knew anybody, so that was done just for fun. My girl's car was broken into - broken window - GPS stolen. I've seen few times other cars with schatered side windows, so it's not just me.. There are guys (parasites of the society, that's how I call them), hanging around at any time of the day,usually after office closes, looking for something, just walking... You know what I mean..
Grounds around middle pond looking poor - soil erroded, rocks around the pond, at some places, were entirely thrown in to the pond by the kids playing around.
So for the conclusion I would say - could be great place, because of the area close to everything, but it is NOT SAFE. If you are guy and alone, I guess you will be fine, but for girls...
The whole area with other appartment communities surrounding it, infected by the parasites of the society. Very sad. It was way better 4 years ago, but with old manager which was working for about the year, things went down very hardly.
Hopefully new owners (Collins & Flaherty I think) will improve the community. Though I hardly believe in that, because, like I said - whole area needs major improvements, especially apartments across the 38st., where police and ambulance are coming almost every night, with sirens waking you up..
