This has been one of the worst apartment experiences I've ever lived through. The very first morning here my son was woken when part of the ceiling in the kitchen fell. We didn't realize that the water had been turned off in the upstairs bathroom because it leaked.
First time we used the dishwasher we had puddles of water in the kitchen. The seal on the fridge was worn out, but they couldn't fix it. Eventually they brought us another fridge after about a month but it leaks.
When the maintenance man came to fix the dishwasher he complained to management about all our boxes of household goods making it hard to walk, so management told us we had a week to unpack them so you could have easy access through the apartment. After unpacking everything we didn't have enough space to put things away, so she said our housekeeping wasn't up to standards and said that we were not allowed to have a separate freezer. She couldn't give a reason other than it was 'policy'
The A/C isn't powerful enough to heat the upstairs. When we had maintenance come in he said we'd have to put a fan at the bottom of the stairs to blow air up. We even closed every vent downstairs and still couldn't cool the upstairs. Then the A/C started spewing water and soaked the living room rug.
We decided to move to Sunblest apartments in Fishers and gave a 60 day notice to vacate. I was more than willing to pay the penalties.
Two hours later the manager came over to inspect us and decide to send us a letter of eviction giving us 30 days to move out.
So now it's off to court. The manager Drenda is the problem. Reagan is a wonderful person and so is Sarah. After discussing this with some of our neighbors several of them have gone to Sunblest to apply. And the main problem again is Drenda's attitude towards them.

I am really glad I didn't listen to your comment. There is always more than one side of the story. Sounds like you rented an apartment too small to begin with. I found the staff to be very pleasant with no attitude. I am very happy here and I know I will be. The upkeep of the apartments & grounds is great.
