Bad customer service and office staff

Even before I moved in, I had troubles with the office staff...one person told me I could move in early and when I arrived that day, another person told me I wasn't allowed (so much for taking off work and borrowing a truck). There were always confusions and communication issues and they never return phone calls in a timely manner, even when it involves money and payments! Last year, they closed the office early for a company party, but didn't bother giving anyone notice. So, several of us showed up that afternoon to pick up packages that were delivered to the office via UPS, but of course, couldn't get in! This was a Friday before a holiday weekend and all of us had gifts inside that we needed for family gatherings, etc. A very nice maintenance man let us in, but no one received an apology from the office or the apartment owners even when contacted. The most recent problem was my move-out process. The manager is never there and the poor gals in the office (who are always new) don't receive proper training or information. So, the residents suffer and are charged fees because of the zero communication offered by the office. Horribly unprofessional and the only people to blame would be upper management for not expecting more out of their employees and providing quality training. This is the main reason I moved. Bad, bad customer service.
p.s. maintenance staff are great! always on time and they are amazing at clearing snow from sidewalks and roads. kudos to you guys!

I agree! The maintenance staff is FABULOUS and the office staff are shady morons! I used to live there too. Without going into complete detail, there were several (And I say several without exaggeration!) times Drenda or others under Drenda's direct order, would advise policies or important information just to later renege or state "There is more to the story...". I wouldn't move in here if my life depended on it. You know its one thing to have a noisy neighbor or whatever but to have the people you trust to be accurate and follow the rules and regulations burn you in the way these people do is absolutely ridiculous! And rest assure Drenda will post a note with a slight hint of sarcasm to this apologizing for any bad experiences a person may have had...Well Drenda you're a little late how about you just submit your letter of resignation instead!

RESPONSE FROM WOODBRIDGE MANAGEMENT:
Dear Former Resident,
We regret to hear that you had such an unpleasant experience with the leasing staff at our community. It is our goal to consistently provide quality service, and we apologize that we did not fulfill this goal. We strive daily to make ourselves available to our customers, and we are sorry that we were not available to you at a time when you needed our assistance. There is no excuse for poor service, other than to say that we are human and can make mistakes. We are aware that turnover of the leasing staff has caused inconvenience to our valued residents, and please know that we have been taking steps to prevent the same problems in the future. As the manager of this community for nearly 7 years, I am confident in the quality of our apartment homes, the value of our lease rates, the care of our maintenance team and the training provided by our management company. I hope you can accept this sincere apology. Drenda Martin, Property Manager, Woodbridge Apartments.
