Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
I signed my lease in 2004 and still live in Wood Ridge. Believe me, if I could have left I would have. But money was tight so I stayed.
Well, things have gotten much worse over the years. My neighbors door was kicked in and money was taken, the people below me sell drugs and are very loud. I can hear their every word and their two small kids screaming and crying. The maintance staff no longer does what they are supposed to. It took them two weeks to fix my heat in the dead of winter.
They do have a new manager, but I think it is to late. When you first come in the complex, it looks very nice. But, look again! Kids playing by themselves (I looked outside my window the other day and saw two small kids no more than 4 by themselves), loud music, drugs, gangs, you get it all. I had gang markings in my hallway that was there for two weeks!
My advice, is to remember this: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
