We have lived here for 8 months now. Before moving in we did a walk through of the apartment. There is a closet door that was jammed, which was going to be replaced before we moved in. Also, the closet w/ laundry hook-ups.. the pipes were busted and were also supposed to be fixed before we moved in. Upon our move in 2 weeks later... niether of those things had been repaired. We also found that the kitchen sink continually dripped, the toilet always ran, the towel bar in the bathroom was laying on the counter, there is mold growing on the base boards in the kitchen, 3/4 of the electrical outlets also didn't work. It took them over a month before FINALLY coming to do some repairs. Needless to say, the toilet was so called "fixed" 3 times now and is running lounder than ever (have to keep the door shut or it wakes us up at night!) Mold is still there. Some power outlets fixed, but now the bathroom ones don't work.. I dry my hair in the KITCHEN!! After months of request, nothing is getting done. The maint. staff seem to be VERY incompitent also. They couldn't even hang a towel bar right! We fixed it ourselves finally. Oh, and forget about parking if it snows... you'll just get stuck and not ever get plowed out. One last thing, the previous response said that pizza place wouldn't deliver... it's cuz they have been robbed at gun point many times, and will not deliver after dark now! We got our first 2 months free, but it was DEFINATLY NOT worth it! Whatever you do, do NOT rent from the Woods at Oak Crossing!
