The neighborhood is horrible, people "hanging out" all hours, guns going off randomly all over, the staff is rude and the maintence NEVER shows up. Our toilet in the main bathroom hasn't worked in OVER a month! Still can't get someone to come fix it. Our bedroom window (the outside pane) was BUSTED out when we did our walk through and we were told it would be fixed before moving in, it wasn't, and it took 6 MONTHS before they came to fix it. Also our front door didn't latch. You could just push it open even if it was locked, unless you deadbolted it. The woods is NOT the place to live. We will be moving as soon as our lease is up, or sooner if they don't fix our damn toilet! Do NOT rent at the woods unless you want to live with gun shootings, shifty people and staff that does nothing.

Hello. I sure hope that the person that posted this review will get this. I also posted a VERY BAD review. We had the same promises of things being fixed before we moved in, which never got done before we moved out. However, we did get out of our lease 2 months early. Here is some advise: Greystone is the corporate management for the apartments. If you go to their website you can find an email listing for all employees there. We emailed the head person. Within 24 hours we had a call and the director of Maint. at our apartment. Granted we still didn't get everything fixed. We also made DAILY phone calls bitching about the maint. for over 2 months before someone finally called us back. But if we had to live in a hell hole, we were going to make their life hell too!! I'm sure that you'd agree with that one. We also typed up a list of all maint. that needed to be performed and signed it, dated it, and gave it to the office. Keeping a copy for ourselves. More proof of things. When we FINALLY got told by the corporate offices that "obviously we will not come to a resolution, and you may terminate your lease whenever you choose". Of coarse we took them up on the offer!! The VERY NEXT DAY I came home from work to find our apartment broken into. Dead bolts busted open with a crowbar. The only thing stolen was our laptop! Which had all our corespondence on it! Oooh, and that previous day, the man in the office, he called my boyfriend at work to call him names and swear at him! Needless to say, we called corp. to complain and he did NOT get fired.. but that was the final straw that got us out of our lease. SOO... make their life hell and you too might get out of your lease. If you'd like to know who we talked to at Greystone, just let me know, I'll get you a name! Call EVERY SINGLE DAY about that toilet! Ooh, and the guy in the office, he doesn't like to be called "worthless bastard". Although he IS!!!

Can you give me the names to the people you talked to at Greystone? My email is darlene.shouse@yahoo.com or you can call my office at 480-463-5392
