I have been a tenant of Fox Acres for almost 13 years. During this time frame, the owners of the facility have changed hands once, but the quality and service provided has not waivered one bit; if anything, it has improved (it wasn't bad to begin with either).

The facility is an older one in the Kokomo area, but the apartments are clean, dry and serviceable, the management staff is friendly, COURTEOUS, and professional, and the maintenance personnel are above reproach. The laundry facilities are maintained to a very high level of cleanliness and operational capability. The clubhouse / rental office is always impeccable with a warm, cozy feel that makes any visitor feel more like they are at home rather than in an business setting. The exterior grounds are very well maintained by both the maintenance staff and a professional grounds service.

During my tenure at Fox Acres, I have had maintenance issues develop which were either quickly resolved or, in the case of delayed maintenance actions due to parts on order or other situations beyond their control, I was always kept in the loop as to the status of the repair actions as well as the projected completion date. In either case, I cannot recall a maintenance action taking longer than 48 hours to be resolved after notifying the management staff of the discrepancy.

As for the quietness of the property, there are the occasional incidents that occur that can be a disruption. That will exist in any part of any town, be it in a residentail subdivision or a rental community. However, any incident that I have addressed to the management staff has been handled in the utmost professional manner and brought to a timely, quick resolution.

The leasing agreements that are administered by the management are not complicated as has been previously written for others to believe. The agreements have actually improved in readability and ease of understanding in comparison to the forms that were in previous use. In all the years of residing at Fox Acres, the management staff has always afforded me the courtesy to review the agreement with me page by page and answer any questions that may arise during this time. Not once has this process ever been rushed through by the staff, or have any of my questions or concerns been addressed (or answered) with nothing less than the management's fullest attention and professional courtesy.

At Fox Acres, I do not feel as if I am a customer engaged in business with a commercial entity. Rather, I feel as though I am part of a large, caring family. This is a wonderful place to live, to raise a family, or to retire. Neighbors tend to look out for their fellow neighbors and take pride in living here. What more could a person want from their residential community'
