I have lived here for almost a year. The managers are slow to act when you have a complaint. I have told them about my screen coming out of my window 4 months ago, it is still laying down in the bushes. I was concerned about the younger tenants being noisy, but its the older tenants in the building, who blare their tv day and night. I have to turn my tv up louder just to drown out the noise from theirs. I have to go to sleep at night with ear plugs in my ears. I have been awakened at 3am from their TV. The first snow the sidewalks were shoveled but they havent done it since. I complained about the gutter dripping down over the entry door back in Sept when it was raining really hard. They haven't done anything about it so now it is dripping and turning to ice so you slip and almost fall when you step out of the doorway. The tenants have bought salt for the walk but the apt doesn't do anything about it. I have had people soliticing at night after 7 or 8PM, which is pretty scary when you are living alone. I do not feel safe here at all. There are no deadbolts on the doors, just a flimsy lock that opens with the turn of the handle.
They have you fill out this questionnaire when you move in about things that are wrong with the apt, however, they don't fix anything that you write down on the list.

This person must not live in the same community that I do. Office staff respond promptly as do the maintenance staff. My walks are shoveled very quickly. My only complaint is a large pothole near the entrance. I have noisy neighbors but I barely hear them and I mostly read so my tv does not drown them out. I am a guy but I do not get around easily and I still feel very safe.

I don't know what this person is talking about in regards to the locks. Our apartment had a dead bolt and chain. And if you're scared when someone comes to your door at 7 maybe you shouldn't live alone, ever.

Management IS terrible and I too only have the flimsy lock, but I do have the traces of where a chain use to be. So not only is rent high, but you can buy your own security features too. While you're at it you can buy new screens and doors too, since that's what good tenants do. You should be so lucky if management finds your sticky note.
