Nothing Special

I've lived here for almost 9 months now. One plus is that laundry is free downstairs (two washers and dryers per hallway which is 8 apartments). They do a decent job of clearing the parking lot and sidewalks when it snows, but the landscaping is pretty bland. Tons of parking for guests is also nice. The office staff is always friendly and will put packages in your apartment without fuss. Maintenance requests are usually completed in 24 hours and they leave a door tag or note on the door so you are aware that they've entered the apartment. There is also an off duty police officer that does security for them in the evenings.
The apartments only have half-sized dishwashers, no microwave and no real dining area to speak of. The windows and balcony door seem to leak quite a bit of air on windy/cold days. Sometimes I hear/smell things from my downstairs neighbor (coming through the pipes I believe). In my particular hallway, my across the hall neighbor smokes like a chimney and the hallway always reeks of it. The shower/tub construction in the bathroom seems pretty cheap, too. The parking lot could use a little better lighting as well.
I probably wouldn't recommend this place unless someone was just out of school or trying to find a large yet cheap place while still in school. I think the best way to describe it is "Well, it'll do until I find a better place."
