The complex is just ok. The place was constructed to look good on the outside (all brick) but is shoddy and cheap on the inside. Even though it's fairly new, it was constructed with poor materials, from the trim to the kitchen sink. The walls are very thin, I can hear the TV's of my neighbors and I'm sure they hear mine. The community is also very unfriendly to kids. Most of the complex is filled with people who don't have children. There are more dogs than kids.

This poster's comments about the community being unfriendly to kids is so true, even a few years later! My niece and nephew came for a visit at 4 in the afternoon on a Saturday and I guess being excited about seeing my apartment for the first time, they ran up the steps. Well less than 24 hours after that happened we get a note on our door saying how our neighbors were upset that this happened. I understand if it were all the time but this was just once. Oh and btw if you want to live in a house don't choose an apartment community. Who are you kidding anyways? You are going to hear all sorts of noises even if there is a NIGHT noise clause. My neighbors are just going to have to deal with noise soon because I am having a baby, babies dont fit into a noise clause and it didn't say that we couldn't have kids in our lease. Luckily our lease will be up 3 months later though! I also agree with the poor materials used here. I have had cheaper, older apartments that were better made. If it gets breezy at all outside it sounds like the siding and roofing are falling off (this has actually happened a lot to other apartments last winter) Fixtures also are cheap and fall off/apart easily. If you want a working dishwasher forget about it, they blame it on hard water of course even though we have used all kinds of "special concoctions" recommended when in reality the water pressure just isn't there to spray the dishes clean from a cheap dishwasher and the plastic piece that sprays is Dollar store toy quality which falls off all the time. (oh but the maintenance guy fixed it several times and its okay) I can fix it too now, you just pick it up and put it back in the hole WOW! I have also never seen the paint they use on the walls here. If you brush your pillow up against it or even hit your elbow on it, it scrapes right off. It seems like its a primer or something. I will be sure to post an even bigger rant when we move out, there has to be lots more fun things to come in the months we have left here!

I lived at these apartments with my child who at the time was 1-3. I never had a problem with anyone and my child. Everyone was very nice and friendly to him. I loved living at these apartments. I agree that the paint in very bad, but overall I really liked this apartment.
