Do not rent if they still make you use RNet Communications

The apartments are great in quality, but the communications company that they force you to use is horrendous. You cannot get cable, internet, or phone except for through this company.
The TV is direcTV for cable channels, but the local channels come off of a giant antenna on the clubhouse, and are always fuzzy. The phone is VoIP phone, which is much less reliable than a real phone. The internet is supposedly DSL, but it's very slow. I've had multiple instances in the past few months where my phone has just completely stopped working. And the company has completely inept technical support and are located 2 hours away, so it can be days before they actually get out there to fix anything. And since they're 2 hours away, they expect you to work your schedule around them to get the problem fixed, when it's their service that isn't working. I went from a Saturday to a Friday once without any phone service.
Other than that, my only gripe is that if you are a commuting Purdue student, take note that it takes me at at minimum 15, usually 20 minutes from apartment to parking spot due to the morning traffic.
