my husband and i have lived here since july of 2005. our original lease stated phone and internet would be included in rent. we did not have any for the first 2 months and then when we did we had to pay for unreliable service (i'm talking maybe getting on the internet for 5 minutes in a month time period) for 6 months before the management decided to get verizon in to fix the problem. we even had to dial 911 one evening and discovered that even though we had been paying for the 911 feature, we didn't have it. management did not do anything at first but after the whole foxfire community made legal threats they finally did something. we had phone and internet 11 months after we originally signed and of course are required to pay for it. this shows how the management does not care and quite frankly are incompetent idiots.
now we constantly have to deal with loud neighbors who leave their yapping dogs in their apartments unattended all day and because the apartments are sooooo poorly insulated the dogs might as well be in your own apartment annoying the heck out of you. again...management doesn't care. parking sucks because management does not enforce others from parking here. the apartments are nice enough but it's not worth the price of rent (walls are not even painted...only primed and insulation sucks...all electric and bill is $200 monthly...maintenance man couldn't even change the filter accurately on our heating and ac as well as our thermostat was installed unleveled TWICE). when our lease is up in july we are out of here. oh and did i mention they have IDIOTS working in their office' the head manager looks as though she should be working a street corner and her staff members are lacking in brain cells as well. i hope this keeps others from making the same mistake we did.
