First off I wouldn't recommend having pets at all at this apt!! We recently moved out and when we were doing the walk through and the manager told us that it smelled like pets...Duh she knew that we had 2 dogs! as the walk-through goes on she tells us that we would have to pay $900 to replace the carpet and $150 to re-finish the hardwood under the carpet!!! It didn't say in the lease that if your apt. smelled of dog when you moved out that you would have to buy new carpet, I think it is just a way for them to get one last chunk of money before your gone! They tell us that we would only get half of our $300 pet deposit back because the other half is to maintain the grounds that you use to walk the dogs on and to replace the carpet in the foyer, so they are basically charging you to walk on their carpet and for maintenance to pick up feces that other tenants leave on the ground!! You are also told to keep your animals on a leash when outside, one of the maintenance men takes his dog and cat out with no leash and sometimes leaves the cat outside, allowing it to run into your building and apt.

Parking is another problem. the spaces in front of the apartment are reserved for those with a parking pass, not to mention that they are small and you have people with big trucks parking in there taking up two spaces and those who are visiting also park in the spots making it so that those with the permit have to park out on the street. In the winter when maintenance cleans the side walk with the snow blower the snow is put on your vehicles.

Recently you are not allowed to have grills on your balcony. yet, the staff of the complex still have grills. The new rule should apply to all not just tenants.
