TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!

I lived in Riverwalk for almost a 1 1/2 before I graduated and moved out of the state. Riverwalk changed management 3-4 different times, the last group, which includes Sarah, is absolutely terrible!! We moved out Dec. 17th. By Indiana Law, they have 45 days from the end of the lease term to return your deposit. Its April 18th and we stil have NOT received it. We have been calling for 2 months trying to figure out where is our money! Initially, Sarah continued to tell us it was in the mail, then finally after a month, and we told her we would take them to court, she decided to tell us the truth which was they completely forgot to start the process of whatever it is they have to go through. Then, she continued to tell us, "Its in the mail"...This was 3 weeks ago...I now live in Georgia and I'm positive it does NOT take 3 weeks for mail to arrive. We have been calling them all week but no returned phone calls. I have run completely out of patience with Sarah and am now looking into finding the contact info for the company and/or person who actually owns Riverwalk apartments. I wonder how many people have moved out and never received their deposit' I would NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

Contact Theresa Cochran, tcochran@prmc.com. It's Pinnacle Management Company, but don't hold your breath. After I looked her up and contacted her, she defended Sara, telling me that if there was further information I should let her know. I did. NO RESPONSE from her!

As long as you can show proof of paying that deposit, and they can't show proof they gave it back to you...Indiana law will give you 5x damages in court. Make sure you have all your bank statements proving that you never received the check, just in case Sara lies again!
