I like it here. I've lived in a few apartments in the past few years and this one has, without question, the nicest layout and quietest environment. Some trashy people have moved in but they either quiet down or move out. This is the anti-ghetto you might say. I'm moving closer to Indy because I work and go to school and can't be commuting like this, but I can tell you, it's a whole new world 30 minutes away from Indy. To start, I don't even think if I lock my doors or remember to "secure my property." This isn't something I considered until I started to look for places in Indianapolis. It's going to cost quite a bit more to not have to live around the loud music, gangster, families screaming and fighting at 2AM, car breaking into, not feeling safe around those people crowd. Also, washer, dryer, dishwasher, really nice large closets, vaulted ceilings on the top floor, large bathroom and open kitchen. I'm in a 1-bedroom and my utilities run about $50/month total. The staff are OK which is better than some places I've lived. Definitely not "award-winning" but nice enough. The place is right next to Kroger and Walmart so I walk to get groceries and household items. However, there is no place to buy shoes, clothes, books, etc. anywhere in town. Plan on going to Indianapolis or Lafayette for those things. Oh, and Lebanon is 99% white; so, if you're looking for diversity, you will not experience that here.

My utilities ran about $150 for the summer, just FYI. You can always ask managementwhat the utilities run. Fashion Bug and Wal Mart are the only two places to shop in Leabon.
