Pros and Cons from an experienced resident

Creekside is not a bad place to live; keyword PLACE! The building is not insulated very well; my bedroom is constantly cold in the winter, while the rest of the apartment is warm, so i hardly sleep in my own bed. The property manager lives near us in the apartments herself, and constantly complains to other renters about their behavior, when i myself can hear her and others yelling from the stair well! Being considerate and mutual should be a landlord's first and foremost quality, not a hunger for power!!!
I have lived in Lowell for 17 years, and the community is very nice, which provides for friendly fellow renters, and the pool/fitness room is nice, however small compared to the enormous growth the complex has experienced over the past year. A new building is needed with another pool to accompany the 3 or 4 buildings recently built and opened, as well as a more fulfilling fitness CENTER (not room).
Rates are reasonable, and maintenance guys are for the most part reliable, but they do not even abide by the smoking ban in the entrance area inside the building. Make sure to not live near the property manager, close to the office building, and on the top floor to avoid noise, and you will not have many worries or complaints!
