I live here now, pretty good actually

I've lived at Broadmoor apartments for the last 6 months, and I think it is a good place to live. When I first moved in, they could not get me my place, so they upgraded (extra bedroom) me without having to pay the extra rent.
My toilet has a running problem, but they have made attempts to fix it, the maintenance staff is very friendly. I work long hours, and accidentally fell asleep with my door wide open (while doing laundry) and did not have a problem. Most of the time, I don't even lock my doors. I know two of my neighbors, but am oblivious to anyone else living in my apartment (quiet neighborhood).
The entry way into the building has some problems, the door sticks and sometimes the key doesn't work, but a good hipcheck fixes that (security isn't great, but the neighborhood is safe).
The walls are indeed a bit thin, so as long as you don't have neighbors that yell plenty, it is no problem. My neighbors are quiet (which probably means I am the loud one). The carpet is nice, and the apartment is as good as you make it to be.
Parking could be a problem, but I am fortunate enough to have a building right in front of the parking lot. Otherwise, you might be in a bit of a pickle.
When it comes down to it, no mold problems, no insect infestations, no gun shots in the middle of the night, the management is courteous, and it is a good place to live, given that you have a building with parking directly in front of it.
