The day I was supposed to move in, the apartment had not yet been cleaned, when the previous tenants moved out 2 weeks before. I had no choice but to move in anyways. The office said that cleaning people would be coming the next day, and they never showed. Then they finally came and all they did was wipe off the counters and the sinks. Then, 2 days after we moved in, the cable guy came to install our cable. In my room there was a cable jack, with no cables behind it, therefore it is not possible to get cable in my room. 2 months later we found mouse droppings all over our kitchen, which the office told me to handle myself. In the last month with the snow, they are ridiculus with getting people to come clean it up. I called the office 4 times because my car got stuck in the parking lot, no one answered. This is not the first time, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. The office people are very rude and inconsiderate. The maintenance people are very kind and helpful when you need them. But the interior leaves something to be desired. The kitchen is very old and appliances need to be replaced. The walls are beginning to crack and the deck is very unsafe. The wood on the deck is wearing away. The laundry area in each building is pretty much pointless, because there is only one washer and dryer. The dryer does not dry clothes in less than an hour. Not to mention, if you are looking for peace and quiet, look elsewhere. Our neighboors upstairs are constantly fighting, yelling and playing loud music. At all hours of the night whether it is hot or cold out, kids are walking up and down the street being nuisances and making noise. At night I am afraid to walk to my building by myself, it is not the safest area. There is no security and the parking lots are very poorly lit. They said that the police make the complex part of their rounds, but I have lived here for 9 months now and I have only seen the police once and that was when I called them. All in all, I would not continue my lease here even if someone paid me. I cannot wait until my year is over, beware of this complex!
