Signing a lease here is probably the biggest mistake my boyfriend and I have ever made! We were in a horrible rush to find a place and we didn't look hard enough. We've been here for 3.5 weeks and I want to leave. I called three weeks ago because the dishwasher doesn't work (it won't even turn on, nothing) and no one has even been to look at it. I've called several times, been to the office several times and nothing. My living room reeks of cat urine from the previous tenant. The walls are so thin I can literally make out the dialouge of whatever tv show my neighbor is watching. People here don't care what their pets do so there is poop all over the sidewalks. They flat out lied to me when I moved in, as I asked if the bedroom were cable ready and they told me they were. They're not. The cable guys had to string a lovely black cable from my bedroom to the second bedroom in order have the internet set up in that room. They have started replacing the siding on the building which is apparently very difficult as in the three weeks I've been here only one building has gotten *mostly* done and another has been started. I pity anyone who tries to sleep in, in those buildings. I never feel safe here and I'm afraid to go outside after dark. One night by boyfriend and I were walking the dog and we heard a woman start to scream repeatedly. They do have a secruity "guard" that sits in a car for awhile at night (I have no idea from when to when), but I have no idea what purpose he serves.
