First of the all if you are looking for apartments in the merrillville area. These are great apartments the staff is excellent, besides Steve the manager avoid him at all costs. the maintenance staff may be unprofessional but they're maintenance. They do their job everything is fixed on time. The walls arent the greatest but its only bothersome if you have really bad neighbors. THEY HAVE WASHERS AND DRYERS IN EVERY APARTMENT. Thats the best thing they have going for them. Rent is high but once again best in Merrillville. And they will raise every year you are there, NEVER FAILS. I once forgot to sign my lease on the date specified they went up $15 in that month. I wont give you my opinion you have read what I wrote you decide. Im looking to move now but I understand that apartments are stepping stones in life. You have to buy a home. We throw $700 down the drain every month. Get a house look at those people with their nice cars paying notes living in an apartment. Im here to tell you stop it.

You get a 30 day notice, if you don't sign, the notice specifies that your rent will be a higher amount, so because you did not sign in time, the increase was your fault. I know someone that lived there and one year there rent stayed the same, and other people have had rent go down $15, so it all depends on the availability and the market. And the increase is NOTHING compared to the chicago market, there you will go up at least $50 a year, Every year. I work in Chicago, and we have it SO good in Indiana.
