Summerwood

I have lived in a great many apartments, and Summerwood has been far from the worst experience I have had. I actually lived in two different units on the property, a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom. Both units were clean, spatious, and with new appliances. The management staff was always helpful and efficient and repairs never took longer than 24 hours. The only problems I had with the apartment complex was that: 1 - There is a serious draft problem. The insulation around the windows truly is horrible and drives the gas bills through the roof. 2 - The laundry facilities are so expensive and so poorly kept that it's worth it to drive to a local laundry facility.
The neighbors are friendly, the facility is within a mile of everything you could ever want to buy on short notice. My roomatte and I were even able to put on a three-hour-long fireworks show one 4th of July without any problems.
Parking is fantastic over the entire lot. I really can't understand how anyone can complain about that.
I don't know if Karen still works for the community, but she would jump through the wall for most of her tenants. She's fantastic.
